The HIVE is a modern and vibrant work space environment for start-up and established businesses. The project consisted of a 2-storey 700m2 extension to the existing enterprise centre. Using dynamic simulation software, the building was designed to provide naturally ventilated and daylit spaces throughout. Exposed concrete walls and ceilings provide passive heating and cooling and minimise the risk of overheating.
