This development is a 6-storey mixed-use development comprising 15 apartments and a ground floor retail unit. The apartments were designed to achieve an A2 BER and NZEB compliance. Exhaust air heat pumps provide space and hot water heating, as well as mechanical ventilation throughout the apartments. The building was constructed using Insulated Concrete Formwork (ICF), providing extremely well insulated apartments which require minimal heating and result in extremely low energy costs.
