Dublin One Hotel is a 163-bedroom boutique style hotel in the centre of Dublin city. The hotel has a vibrant ground floor bar and restaurant, and a chic outdoor courtyard. High speed WIFI and boosted mobile network signals are provided from the front door to the pillow. Dublin One Hotel is awaiting LEED Gold accreditation, which demonstrates the high commitment level by all parties involved to minimise environmental impact through sustainable building design and construction. Bernard Smith Consulting Engineers worked closely with the Client, LEED consultant, design team and contractors throughout the project to ensure that the Gold standard was attainable. This involved an innovative design approach to the building services systems, incorporating proven and renewable energy technologies, including air-to-water heat pumps and a comprehensive Building Energy Management (BEMS) System to monitor and control internal conditions.
